I welcome the signing of the Joint Declaration between Cambodia and Thailand, under the leadership of Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul of Thailand and Prime Minister Hun Manet of Cambodia in Malaysia.

I hope that today's agreement will serve as a meaningful step toward promoting peace and stability in the region as well as between the two countries.

I also highly appreciate the dedicated efforts made by US President Donald Trump and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, as Chair of ASEAN for 2025, in achieving this historic agreement.
