양국 수교 50주년을 기념해 올해 안에 양국 간 ‘전략적 동반자 관계’를 구축하기로 합의했으며, AI와 디지털 혁신 등 미래지향적인 분야에서 양국의 전략적 협력을 더욱 강화하기 위해 긴밀히 협력하기로 했습니다.

올해 경주에서 열리는 APEC 정상회의에서 웡 총리와 만나 양국 간 협력 관계를 한층 더 발전시킬 수 있는 방안에 대해 심도 있는 논의를 나누기를 기대합니다.

I had the first phone call with Prime Minister Lawrence Wong of Singapore.

Commemorating the 50th anniversary of our diplomatic ties, Prime Minister Wong and I agreed to establish a ‘Strategic Partnership’ between our two countries within this year, and to work closely to further strengthen bilateral strategic cooperation in future-oriented sectors, such as AI and digital innovation.

I look forward to welcoming Prime Minister Wong at this year’s APEC Summit to be held in Gyeongju, and having an in-depth discussion on ways to further advance our partnership.
