대한민국 국민들의 아세안에 대한 애정은 각별합니다. 지난해 우리 국민이 가장 많이 찾은 해외 지역도 바로 아세안이었습니다.

대한민국과 아세안은 오랜 세월 깊은 신뢰와 우정을 바탕으로 함께 성장해 왔습니다. 서로의 문화와 콘텐츠를 즐기며 활발히 소통하는 모습은 이제 우리 일상 속 친숙한 장면이 되었습니다.

이번 싱가포르와 필리핀 방문을 시작으로, 앞으로 아세안의 모든 나라를 방문하고 싶습니다. 2029년 열릴 한-아세안 특별정상회의에서 마주할 정상들과의 만남도 기대하고 있습니다.

대한민국은 꿈과 희망을 이루는 조력자, 성장과 혁신의 도약대, 그리고 평화와 안정의 파트너로서 언제나 아세안과 함께하겠습니다.

The people of the Republic of Korea hold a special affection for ASEAN. Last year, ASEAN was the region most visited by Korean travelers.

The Republic of Korea and ASEAN have grown together over decades of deep trust and friendship. Enjoying each other’s culture and contents as well as interacting beyond physical borders have become common sights in our everyday lives.

Beginning with my visits to Singapore and the Philippines, I hope to visit all ASEAN member states during my presidency. I also look forward to welcoming the leaders at the Korea-ASEAN Commemorative Summit to be held in 2029.

As a Contributor for Dreams and Hope, a Springboard for Growth and Innovation, and a Partner for Peace and Stability, the Republic of Korea will always stand with ASEAN.
